Open wetlab Waag & yeast-art
Waag society in amsterdam opened a new open diybio wetlab the 21st of june. It was celebrated with a GMO-beers produced from imported corn intended as feed for livestock.
During the opening the results of the previous days yeast-print workshop where also exhibited. The workshop was organized by the Waag open wetlab and the bioartist Jeniffer Willet who is also running the bioart lab inkubator at Windsor University
As several people from the european biohacker, bioart community were gathered, it was a great opportunity to have a diybio.eu meeting. We collaborated on biohacker and open wetlab guidelines, while talking about our next activities and all the new spaces that are starting up all over the world at the moment.
